About this event
Look Again: Encountering the Art of Otto Duecker features more than 100 extraordinary paintings celebrating the artist's six-decade career in hyperrealism. An Oklahoma State University alumnus, Duecker transforms everyday subjects into astonishing works of art, from lifelike portraits and trompe l'oeil paintings to floating fruit, clothing, handwritten notes, and his iconic Drifters series. Using only traditional oil paint and brushes, he achieves remarkable illusions that challenge perception and reward careful observation. This retrospective invites visitors to slow down, look closer, and discover the extraordinary craftsmanship and wonder hidden within the ordinary.
